96-818: Innovation and Entrepreneurship
This course addresses business skills appropriate to the context of starting a new private venture or launching a new initiative within a larger organization. Student teams work with an experienced venture capitalist and entrepreneurial engineering manager to become adept with the elements of innovation and entrepreneurship within the general scenario of a Business Plan Competition. Student teams evaluate cases, meet with experienced business leaders, craft an innovative offering, and refine all this into a business plan.
