96-709: Avoiding Project Failures
The Construction Course builds on the skills and knowledge developed in the Foundations of Software Engineering; Requirements Engineering; and Architecture Courses. It goes into greater depth in the key activities of design and implementation of greatly enhanced releases of PET.Task 3: Iteration 2: Integration Testing - Working in teams, students are exposed to the techniques for integrating components and testing the resulting assemblage. In addition, they become familiar with approaches for managing this process.Task 4: System Testing - Working in teams, students are exposed to the techniques for final testing and deployment of products. In addition, they become familiar with the management of this final development step.Task 5: Project Close-Out -As a final step, students present a demonstration of the final system, summarize lessons learned, and prepare documentation for system hand-off. Prerequisites: 96700 Foundations of Software Engineering I, 96701 Foundations of Software Engineering II, 96702 Requirements Engineering I, 96704 Requirements Engineering II, 96703 PSP for Software Engineers, 96705 Architecture and Design I, 96706 Architecture and Design II, 96707 Construction I, 96708 Construction II
